Caban Copa

Caban Copa, with its high curved roof making a small tin peak on the hillside, is aptly named after the Welsh for summit. Grab a trail map and stride out into the valley, returning after a day in the woods (or the pub) to a colourful and cosy cabin

From £90 PN

Minimum 2 nights

Quirky cabin with curved tin roof in Mid Wales, UK. Holiday accommodation, with design and pink chairs outside.

Caban Copa looks down the valley, over terrain crisscrossed with hiking routes and custom-made mountain biking trails that can keep you happily exhausted for days.

Coming home to Caban Copa doesn’t end your day outside so much as frame it. The domed ceiling, glass doors and porthole windows fill the space with light and make the countryside a backdrop to a restful afternoon or evening. If you want to relax indoors, there’s a sofa across from the wood-burner, hobs to cook on and the en-suite flushing loo is hidden in a room behind the kitchen, so you don’t need to leave the cabin for anything. Later, lounge on the deck and light up the firebowl, or turn out all the lights and watch the stars fill the unspoilt sky.

Absolutely gorgeous setting and beautiful cabin. Very cosy with the fire on. Well equipped and lovely views. Loved it. We stayed with our dog and 6 year old. Our 6 year old just loved climbing up the ladder to bed. Would definitely return with our bikes and try out some of the many biking routes.

We really enjoyed our stay at Caban Copa. It is a sweet wee cabin full of character and a great base to explore the local area. We travelled by train and Dafydd the host kindly picked us up and dropped us off, so it was easy to access the cabin. We also hired the sauna on one of evenings which was perfect to relax after a full day of walking. Thanks for the great stay, would definitely stay again.
